1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, accessing, installing, or using SplitMonX (via APK, Google Play, App Store, or web interfaces), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please discontinue using the application immediately.
2. Expense Sharing & Debt Simplification
SplitMonX is an informal expense accounting, ledger, and debt simplification tool. We calculate net shared balances and suggest settlement transactions for mutual groups.
3. User Responsibility
Users are solely responsible for ensuring the accuracy of expenses, transaction titles, currency designations, member participant assignments, and recorded settlement payments logged within their shared groups.
4. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to misuse SplitMonX to record unlawful transactions, transmit harassing or defamatory messages in group chat, upload malicious attachments or corrupted files, or attempt to circumvent Firestore database security rules.
5. Limitation of Liability
SplitMonX is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind regarding informal debt repayment agreements or data loss resulting from device failures. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SplitMonX shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
6. Modifications to Service
We reserve the right to update, modify, or discontinue features of SplitMonX at any time. Significant updates to these Terms will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
